It’s pointless beating about the bush. Home Festival has been awarded as best festival in Italy for many years in a row, because it is not just a huge space with a huge stage. It’s a Home. For three years Home has also had its own garden, “Home Garden”, the space dedicated to camping, which can accommodate about a thousand people a night and that this year becomes “Pam Home Garden” thanks to the collaboration with Pam Panorama: the supermarket chain celebrates sixty years of activity and with the occasion will give the campers a bag with a “survival kit” to better enjoy the event.
After the experiences of the past few years, this year the company that organizes the event has decided to focus even more on the concept of Glamping, a word that combines “glamour” with “camping“, accommodation halfway between the green and luxury, a campsite that offers all the comforts of a hotel. Some examples? Tents with internal lighting, flooring with carpets and cushions, bed with mattress and linen, power supply, storage box.
The setting up was handled by the professionals of the sector: The Pop Up Hotel, an Italian company offshoot of the one that manages the glamping spaces in one of the world’s legendary festivals, Glastonbury in England. Entertainment is guaranteed in the afternoon every day with a different party, a completely free “beauty salon” will be set up for makeup and hairstyles for “festivalgoers” and detox areas will be arranged with smoothies, fruit salads, pancakes, juices, fruit cocktails and yoga sessions. For details:
“Pam Home Garden” becomes a micro world that combines vacation, fun and sharing. The proximity to the main stage, which is accessible on foot, allows guests to relax and at the same time to participate in all activities and initiatives of Home Festival at any time, with priority access. “We thought about everything and everyone”, explain the organizers. “Our guests can choose between different types of tents and accommodation, and there is no lack of activities to fill the days, from sport to sightseeing. Of course, it will be an opportunity to attract festival tourists from all over Europe: the proximity to Venice in this sense will help us. Our goal is to make the festival more international “.
Moreover, the theme of tourist reception is at the center of the attention of the company that organizes Home Festival. Suffice it to mention the collaboration over the years with Ciset, the organization that deals with tourism for the University of Venice, or with the Consortium of tourist promotion Marca Treviso. This year, also, the Chamber of Commerce has granted the location in Piazza Borsa for Home Festival Pop Up Store, a space where tourists can ask for information about the event and Treviso residents buy tickets at discounted prices.
A special agreement goes in this direction too, made with the Bhr Hotel, the main hospitality venue for the event, which offers its “Bhr hotel packages”. “We give the opportunity to stay in the same Hotel selected for the crew and our artists and to be so lucky as to meet them in the common areas between an interview and one of the pre-parties with free access.”, the management explains. “The package also gives access to the VIP Area of Hf18”.
Various types of activities are planned for those staying at the Hf18 campsite. For example, guided tours: a local tourist guide will make you discover the most evocative places of the historic center, especially those related to artists and local figures. In the morning, from 10 to 13.30, in collaboration with Sportler Climbing Center, the largest climbing gym in Italy, you can then learn how to climb moving in the most fluid, coordinated and harmonious way. Alternatively, from 9 to 12.30, you can try the canoe experience in the River Sile Regional Natural Park. From 14 to 15.30 finally there is the opportunity to explore the hinterland by bike between rivers, marinas and taverns.

For those who aim for classy camping, there is the “superior room”. Probably the best you can ask for from a bell tent, ideal for hosting up to four people in a nice and comfortable environment. Internal lighting, flooring with carpets and cushions, bed with mattress and linens, power supply, storage box. Then there is the “classic room”:  comfortable space for up to four people, with lighting, design decorations, mattress with pillows and linens, closet and power supply. In addition, there is the “festival tent”: with its five meters in diameter, it guarantees all the necessary space; windows allow you to breathe during the hot summer days, and mosquito nets to protect you against insects. The “festival tent ” can accommodate up to four people and is equipped with mattresses, storage box, lighting and carpets. Finally, there is the basic formula of the “camping tent”, a tepee-type tent, water-repellent and comfortable for up to four people. It is equipped with single mattresses with mattress covers, LED lights and, upon request and with a surcharge, with bed linens and towels.
